Your numbers are yours
Use spreadsheets, CSV files or pasted data without uploading the underlying dataset to our servers. Here is exactly what happens to your data.
Pasted data is never uploaded
Parsing, name matching and rendering all run in your browser. Your values are not sent to a server, not written to a database, and not logged.
Your work is saved in this browser
So a closed tab does not cost you an afternoon, the builder keeps your settings and name matches in local storage and your pasted data in IndexedDB — both on your own device, neither ever sent to us. It stays until you press Start over or clear your browsing data. On a shared computer, use Start over when you finish.
Exports are made on your device
PNG and SVG files are drawn in the page and saved straight to your downloads folder. The image never passes through us.
What we do record
If you sign in, Supabase Auth holds your email address. Alongside it we record the shape of what you built — geography and level, map type, export format — and how the export was unlocked, which at the moment is simply that it was free. Product events carry an anonymous id that lasts only as long as the browser tab.
What is never transmitted
Pasted data, uploaded files, their file names, your metric names and your metric values. They stay on your device and in the export drawn there. Our event recorder accepts a fixed, short list of fields and drops everything else before a request is made.
Being straight about ads
There is no advertising running on the site at the moment, so no ad network is setting cookies here or seeing your IP address, and exports are free. If that changes, the ads would come from a third-party network which sets its own cookies and sees your IP address like any ad on the web — it would still never receive your spreadsheet, and this page will say so when it happens.
